Gold on Silver Iceland 1 Krona Cod Fish Earrings

These stunning earrings were made using real 1 krona coins from Iceland which are about the size of a US nickel and feature a cod fish. First, these coins were layered in pure, .9999 fine bright silver. Then, the figures on these beautiful coins were brought to life by highlighting them (by hand) with rich, pure 24-carat gold. This painstaking work turned these coins into true works of art which were then hermetically sealed in a clear, hard acrylic coating to protect them against wear. The finished coins were then made into a unique pair of earrings with sterling silver wires. Shipped in a nice jewelry box.
