Gold on Silver Poland 5 Zlotych Eagle Cut Coin Earrings

These stunning earrings were made using real 5 zlotych coins from Poland which are about the size of a US quarter and feature an eagle. First, a small hole was drilled in each coin. Then, a very fine jeweler's saw blade was inserted through the hole and carefully worked around the coin's design elements by hand, cutting away the background. This left the coin's figure floating inside it's outer rim. The figure was then selectively layered by hand with brilliant .9999 fine silver and rich 24-carat gold. The finished coins were then made into a unique pair of earrings with sterling silver wires. Shipped in a nice jewelry box.
