Gold on Silver Canada 10 Cent Bluenose Hat Clip / Ball Marker

This stunning hat clip was made using a real 10 cent coin from Canada which is about the size of a US dime and features a bluenose sail boat. First, the coin was layered in pure, .9999 fine bright silver. Then, the figure on this beautiful coin was brought to life by highlighting it (by hand) with rich, pure 24-carat gold. This painstaking work turned the coin into a true work of art which was then hermetically sealed in a clear, hard acrylic coating to protect it against wear. The finished coin was then mounted on an antique gold hat clip with a strong magnet. These can also be clipped on a belt and are ideal for use as a golf ball marker.
