Gold on Silver Philippines 25 Sentimos Butterfly Hinge Money Clip

This stunning money clip was made using a real 25 sentimos coin from the Philippines which is about the size of a US nickel and features a butterfly. First, the coin was layered in pure, .9999 fine bright silver. Then, the figure on this beautiful coin was brought to life by highlighting it (by hand) with rich, pure 24-carat gold. This painstaking work turned the coin into a true work of art which was then hermetically sealed in a clear, hard acrylic coating to protect it against wear. The finished coin was then mounted on a patented hinge-style money clip that will hold just one bill or several bills. Overall clip size is 1 inch by 2 inches. Shipped in a nice jewelry box.
