Gold on Silver Bermuda 5 Cent Angel Fish Tie or Hat Tack

This stunning tie tack was made using a real 5 cent coin from Bermuda which is about the size of a US nickel and features an angel fish. First, the coin was layered in pure, .9999 fine bright silver. Then, the figure on this beautiful coin was brought to life by highlighting it (by hand) with rich, pure 24-carat gold. This painstaking work turned the coin into a true work of art which was then hermetically sealed in a clear, hard acrylic coating to protect it against wear. The finished coin was then made into a tie tack. Shipped in a nice jewelry box.
